Horse Show; Two Days Away; Nervous Butterflies.

[1.] The love for a horse is just as complicated as the love for another human being...If you never love a horse, you will never understand.

[2.] A horse doesn't care how much you know until he knows how much you care.

[3.]There on the tips of fair fresh flowers feedeth he; How joyous is his neigh, there in the midst of sacred pollen hidden all hidden he; how joyous is his neigh - Navajo Song

[4.] When your horse follows you with out being asked, when he rubs his head on yours, and when you look at him and feel a tingle down your spine you know you are loved...do you love him back?

[5.] The Sugeon General said nothing about SMOKING THE COMPETITION!!

[6.]Here is one little girl who would rather clean a stall than her own room...Here is one little girl who would rather wear chaps than a party dress...Here is one little girl who would rather go to the barn than the mall...

[7.]Stay away from a horse long enough and you'll start tapping your fingers in the beat of a post trot.

[8.] Nothing is more sacred as the bond between horse and rider...no other creature can ever become so emotionally close to a human as a horse. When a horse dies, the memory lives on because an enormous part of his owner's heart, soul, very existence dies also...but that can never be laid to rest, it is not meant to be...

[9.] I have often been asked why do I like horses so much. Look into one's eyes. There you will see generations of horses who have served the human for thousands of years faithfully for nothing in return, beaten horses, starved hoses, horses who no longer pocess a sprit. They deserve to be loved and respected as much as humanly possible. Let them run free again. Let them no longer be a faithful beast, but embrace them as you would a dear friend, for they are.

[10.] No hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle - Winston Churchill

So, I have showing on Tuesday.
The showing class, I'm in, starts at 9 Am.
I have to be in Pekin, at the stable, sometime between 7, and 7:30.
I have to brush Mike out, and shine up his hoofs and check in and get dressed and feed him and all this other stuff. I have nervous butterflies, thinking about the fact, everyone's eyes are going to be on me, as I set up Mike, and I trot and walk with him, and do pivot circles and all. Its sort of thrilling, yet nerve-racking.
Like, when I first sang in front of alot of people, I was shaky at first, then let it all go, and got better.
I was shaky in training, I was better in the second one. But I was in the showing areana yesterday, helping them set up ropes and all, I have to admit..It's pretty big.
I have to wear boots, and tuck the black jeans into them, a western button up shirt, tucked in, and I'm going to wear a black tooled belt, with a rectangular belt buckle with two horse heads on it, and of course, my cowgirl hat.

I'm excited!
I want to atleast place.

Wish me luck!

I just gotta let it go, and not worry, have fun, and be confident.
I know Mikey-boo will do good.
[Haha, Real name is Micheal Jackson, everyone calls him Mike. I call him Mike, or Mikey-boo]
Mike is a black Morgan/Quarter mix, with a white mark, under his forelock.
He's smallish too, 14.3 hands.

Songs:
It's Been Awhile - Staind
When You're Gone - Avril Lavinge
Going In Blind - P.O.D
No Reins- Rascal Flatts
Strange Boy- Kerli Koiv

Quotes

If you can promise me anything, promise me that whenever you're sad, or unsure, or you lose complete faith, that you'll try to see yourself through my eyes
PS I Love You

I can't really offer you much. But I can offer you thatempty spot of carpetright next to me.I can offer you late nights,of you and I sitting together.I can share with you mymind, and my words, and my music, and maybeit'll move you, like you move me.

Rainy days, and sorrow drowned roads, your everywhere I go, in the faces of strangers, on the boardwalk, down by the harbor, in the ripped waves, I feel you in the stars, on a cold nightyour everywhere But here.

Look in my eyes
'Cause you're my dream;
please come true.

There was no one but you and me
We would hide from passing cars and we would have the summer stars
And we were better than we'd ever been before
You came back to me after walking out my door

And you honey, you need to know that you, you took the world and made it glow.

His hello was the end of her endings,
Her laugh was their first step down the aisle.
His hand would be hers to hold forever,
His forever was as simple as her smile.
He said she was what was missing,
She said instantly she knew.
She was a question to be answered,
& his answer was I do

Let's dress up like dreams and pretend we're free.
